Skull Knits

This is going to be a quick post. I just spotted this skull jumper (above) in the Autumn/Winter 2010 Alexander McQueen collection. It sparked of a memory of an image I had saved before….so after searching my computer for about an hour I found the image below..a more textural version skull inspired jumper. I’m not too sure on who it’s by but I think it may be Sibling. Well…that’s what it says on the original website I got it from, but I don’t remember it from their collections. I’m sure someone will know and leave me a comment.

I really like this a lot. Alexander McQueen is continuing with skulls through his collections

Yes, it was made by Sibling, on their first winter collection

Paca you’re saying Sibling did these for McQueen? I don’t anything about Sibling, but I thank you for enlightening me. I’m hoping this will inspire me to take up knitting again, sadly I haven’t made the time yet.

It is Sibling but not McQueen, it’s amazing!! I’ve seen it as I work for them – it was all hand knitted. Look at their other stuff too!

Paca, I am interested in learning more for a possible story. Do you know if they work with sustainable materials and processes?
